Our company posted a job on the unemployment site, NW Employment stole that information and started charging people to give them the information we posted for free.

They had people calling us several times a day with information we supposedly requested.

We feel bad for the people who were lied too and reported NW Employment to the Better Business Bureau. You can cancel you Visa or dispute any charges you paid to them for fraud, complain to the BBB and request your money back.

This "company" needs to be out of business so more people are not paying for information they could get for free themselves

Northwest Employment is a licensed permanent employment service celebrating 16 years serving Washington. We pride ourselves on providing a valuable service to area job seekers and companies. These tough economic times are difficult for all of us. We were fortunate to operate mainly during a thriving economy. As the Customer service manager for Northwest Employment I would welcome the chance to speak to anyone who has questions or comments. I have been with this company for fifteen years and have seen thousands of job seekers get back to work and thousands of employers find good qualified applicants.

Unfortunately when someone is posting blindly and can keep anonymity they can also make outlandish and fraudulent claims. Over the past several days there have been several posts under various names from someone we believe to be a former employee who is disgruntled. The allegations and claims made on the previous posts can neither be substantiated nor confirmed because they are false.

The concept of charging a fee for a service is not unique to our business. Many businesses charge an up front fee for a service and results vary based on how effectively the service is used. Health clubs and weight loss centers are two examples of services which individuals can do on their own, but choose to seek assistance. Northwest Employment is effective if used properly. We give each client a money back guarantee of accuracy and availability, so it is difficult to understand how claims of false leads and false advertising can be made. Our office has been in Tacoma for over 16 years, much of that time was when unemployment rates were under 4%. The suggestion that we are “taking advantage of the unemployed” is absurd.

Northwest Employment adheres to all state laws and guidelines as well as internal protocol as defined in all legitimate ethical business practices.

Its true, they DO pay people to post good reviews because they are a huge scam! Its so easy to go onto any site and pretend you are a satisfied customer but the truth can be found by talking to their current clients and weighing out the good vs bad comments.

I'm not a happy employer, I was paid to post positive comments and never saw one person use the service they paid for and actually got a good job. A door to door knife selling job or jobs stolen from the local newspaper are what they specialize in. Wages advertisewd are completely falsified and they even lie and say they've been open 30 years, look up their business license, its not 30 years old by any math. They go thru employees like dirty underwear and are given commision to bring in clients, the employees there make ONE DOLLAR for each client that pays their fee. So you can imagine how hard they have to sell to make above min wage!

They steal jobs off big local company web sites and off the local newspaper want ads... anyone can do this without paying $200.

Food for thought: what incentive do they have to find a job once they have charged their upfront fee of $200? They alreayd have the jobs they say? Yeah, if you want to be a janitor for $10 an hour or a c.n.a. for min wage. The other ads are made up and they'll tell you the job filled right before yo came in the door.

BAIT AND SWITCH ... TOTAL SCAM ... SHADY BUSINESS ... BIG SCAM!

Disregard what happy employer is saying, NWE has the habit of going on sites giving bad reviews about them and make up lies about themselves to try to still get the best of you. All this company does is butter you up to make you think you can get a job through them when the reality is they still make you find a job by yourself and they profit off of you not knowing that all they do is call employers and ask if they are hiring just so they can get them in their database and charge that same job opp.

to hundreds of people. It's a scam people take my word for it.

that would never happen since nwe has to tape record each position that comes in for accuracy. The company has been listing my positions for years, even I know how they work!
